The CMPTA would like to give a special thanks to the students, faculty and families of the Center Moriches Middle and Clayton Huey Elementary Schools who assisted in making the blood drive held at Clayton Huey Elementary a real success. We had a total of 178 people come out to volunteer and donate with a total of 158 pints collected. Just think, we saved 474 lives by collecting that many pints of blood. Thank you to Mrs. Hardwick and Mrs. Cunningham for suggesting and encouraging us to go forward with the blood drive, opening up their schools to us and allowing us to meet with the faculty and students through meetings and assemblies.
