Dear Center Moriches families,
The Board of Education, administration, faculty and staff of the Center Moriches School District is grateful to serve a community so passionate about the success of its young people, and we thank everyone who took the time to vote today. Your support and feedback have played essential roles in our efforts to provide our scholars with the resources needed to succeed in all facets of their education. With the passing of the 2025-2026 school year budget, the Center Moriches School District will be able to provide our students with the latest technology and infrastructure to support them in their learning journey for years to come.
We also would like to thank you for approving Proposition 2. We can now move forward with the necessary renovations to transform our high school auditorium into a space that supports our outstanding music and theater arts programs and all the other District and community group events that take place every year in our high school auditorium.
Finally, we would like to congratulate Shawna Walsh and John Thoms for being elected to the Board of Education along with ex-officio student Board of Education winner, Clara Tebbens. We look forward to working with you to ensure that the Center Moriches School District continues to move forward, offering our students an exceptional education that helps them achieve their full potential.
Sincerely,
Dr. Ricardo Soto
Superintendent of Schools
Center Moriches School District
