At a recent Board of Education meeting, eight teachers and staff received tenure. Both Clayton Huey Elementary School and Center Moriches High School teachers were honored at the meeting in front of family, friends, the Board of Education, and District administration.
The Center Moriches High School teachers that received tenure included mathematics teacher Nicole Baretsky, teaching assistant Jennifer Kolongowski, and English as a new language teacher Brittni LoNigro. Special education teacher Jaclyn Bonventre, reading teacher Leah Comparetto, social worker Lauren Richard-Holt, and teaching assistants Carin Verbarg and Emily Wolters received tenure from Clayton Huey Elementary School administration.
“Each of the teachers and staff who received tenure today have shown immense dedication to the Center Moriches School District and to our students,” said Center Moriches Superintendent of Schools Dr. Ricardo Soto. “I, along with the Board of Education, look forward to working with everyone honored here today for years to come.”
