Students Shine at Tri-M Night

Posted Date: 03/24/26 (02:14 PM)

Center Moriches High School recently presented a special evening of music celebrating student achievement, growth, and artistic excellence at the Districtwide Tri-M Music Honor Society Induction and Recital. This unique evening offered both additional performance opportunities for student musicians and a rare chance for the community to experience the full arc of their musical development.

“We are incredibly proud of our students for their hard work and passion,” said Dr. Ricardo Soto, Superintendent of Schools. “This recital not only highlights their musical talents, but also brings our community together to celebrate the importance of arts education.”

The program featured a wide range of performances across grade levels, beginning with elementary musicians and culminating with high school performers. Elementary band and chorus students showed off their impressive musical talents; the middle school band built upon those foundational skills with more complex and refined performances; and the high school band and vocal groups delivered polished, advanced selections that highlighted their musical maturity and artistry.

The evening concluded with the induction ceremony for the Tri-M Music Honor Society Chapter 5406. Inductees included:
