Board of Education Meeting Highlights and Celebrations

At last night’s Board of Education meeting, we proudly recognized our 2025-2026 Teacher of the Year, Mr. Rich Velotti, and Paraprofessional of the Year, Ms. Sarah Baldock, for their outstanding dedication to our students and school community.

The Board also honored our retirees and thanked them for their years of service, and celebrated seven educators who were granted tenure: Jessica Amador, Lauren Hnetinka, Lindsey Hughes, Kristin Muse, Kaitlyn Sottung, Jarad Vollkommer, and Caitlyn Webber.

We extended our gratitude to outgoing Board member Thomasina Harrell and Student Ex Officio Board Member Clara Tebbens for their commitment and service to the District.

Adding to the celebration, the PTO presented the District with a generous donation of over $13,000 toward a new playground slide at Clayton Huey Elementary School.
