Dear Parents and Community Members, 

I hope you have had a restful summer filled with cherished moments with family and friends. On Wednesday, September 2, 2026, we are excited to welcome your children back to our school buildings for another rewarding year of growth and learning. We look forward to meeting our new students and welcoming back our returning scholars.

At Center Moriches, our dedicated professionals are committed to providing an instructional experience tailored to the unique needs of every student. Our administrative team works closely with the Board of Education, community partners, and staff to nurture an environment where every learner can thrive.

Throughout the summer, our administration, clerical staff, and custodial teams have worked tirelessly to prepare our facilities for the 2026-2027 school year. Simultaneously, our instructional and support staff have been busy developing engaging lesson plans, refining curriculum, and exploring new educational initiatives. I want to extend my sincere gratitude to the entire Center Moriches School District team for their hard work in making our schools such a welcoming environment.

It is wonderful to see our students back on the fields for preseason activities; their energy truly brings our buildings to life. We invite you to join us at our various school events this year, as your presence is vital to our school spirit. To ensure we incorporate diverse perspectives, we encourage community members to participate in our Board of Education committees.
